"Stand," by Jim Mitchem, copywriter (Charlotte) and Jake Mathew, motion graphics designer (San Francisco). Challenge: Develop :30 National TV spot for Barack Obama in MoveOn.org's call for entries. Video Description: This is a simple concept that we believe presents a clear message of hope and focuses on the idea that each of us has a voice and when we stand for what we believe in as individuals that together we stand for something much bigger than ourselves and our chosen political parties. Hope transcends borders, barriers and politics - and lifts us up to our rightful place as world power that leads by example. Through compassion, fairness and truth. Our view is that this election is more than democrat vs. republican. More than black vs. white, women vs. men or young vs. old. It’s about helping to heal the damage that’s been done to our place in the world and reclaim our position as collaborators of peace by starting here at home. Hope. It floats. |
